VAIL PASS BIKE TOUR *ALL DOWNHILL*
Join Charter Sports for a thrilling two-hour self-guided bike tour. “Just follow the path” are your main instructions during a thrilling ride down the paved bike path on Vail Pass.
The 3,000 vertical foot journey will give you a memorable sense of achievement. Immerse yourself in lush mountain splendor surrounded by snow-capped peaks, waterfalls, and mountain air that keeps you feeling refreshed all day long. This bike ride is one of the most popular guest experiences in the summer and an exhilarating way to explore the Vail Valley.
BIKE RENTALS & DELIVERY
Biking in the Valley is considered a local's favorite pastime. From the Vail Pass bike tour where you coast downhill during the entire ride to more extreme downhill mountain biking, there is a bike ride for all abilities. The valley is full of bike trails, bike paths, scenic roads and views. During the summer, buy a bike haul pass so you can load your bike onto the gondola so you can reach the top of the trails quickly.
We can arrange the perfect set up just for you and even have it delivered to your vacation home rental prior to your arrival. Bikes can be reserved by the hour, or receive a better rate when you reserve bikes for your whole stay or for a big group. Helmets are included in the rental price.

WHITEWATER RAFTING
From beginner scenic float trips to roaring whitewater, there is a rafting trip for all ages, abilities and thrill-seekers. TURTLE TUBING
There is more to life than speed. Join Turtle Tubing for a beautiful summer day floating down the calm sections of river. This is one of our owner's favorite activities in the summer, especially on the hot days when the resorts are full of guests. Being able to step out and simply float away from the chaos we know as life is truly unbelievable. Turtle Tubing’s "lazy river" tour is a one-of-a-kind experience.
ZIPLINE TOURS
Put a ZIP in your step while enjoying the pristine mountains, beautiful trees, and raging rivers below as you’re zipping 30 miles per hour over a rugged canyon. Soar like an eagle 100 to 200 feet above the floor of Alkali Canyon on six ziplines, ranging from 150 to 1,000 feet in length.
Each group of no more than 12, will be guided by two highly trained guides devoted to showing you the environment is a safe, eco-friendly way. This ultimate adrenaline rush will definitely get your heart pumping.
JEEP & HUMMER TRAIL RIDES
Do you want the best view with the least amount of work? Now you can effortlessly access Beaver Creek & Vail’s spectacular backcountry with our fun and knowledgeable 4×4 guides. With several trails right at your back door, you’ll be taken up above timberline heights, amongst the woodlands and maybe even come face to face with Colorado wildlife. Climb through open meadows, aspen glades, cross through alpine streams and enjoy incredible 360-panoramic views. Now this is an activity the whole family will enjoy and provides you with the opportunity to snap those postcard perfect vacation photos.
FLY FISHING
Want never-ending options for unlimited fishing adventures! Sample some of the finest trout fishing the West has to offer. For novice anglers and well-seasoned fishermen alike, our guide staff will treat you to an experience on legendary waters here, in the Vail Valley and beyond. With a wealth of waters to choose from, guides will select certain waters based on angler preference, level of experience, water conditions, and current hatches.

Offering rides for every ability from novice to experienced. Pick the perfect trail ride for you as we offer 1 hour, 1.5 hour, 2 hour, and 3 hour trail rides. Our wranglers are hand selected from the best in the Vail Valley. We pride ourselves on having knowledgeable, fun and experienced guides to ensure a memorable horseback experience.
HIKING
Hundreds of trailheads dot the valley floor from Vail Pass to Glenwood Canyon. With some of the best trails steps from your back door, picking the best one depends on many factors. The first thing to consider is the destination. Are you hiking to a point of interest like a high alpine lake, or is a water fall more in line with your group’s desires?
HOT AIR BALLOON RIDES
Welcome to the magical world of Hot Air Ballooning. Specializing in year-round balloon tours above the beautiful Eagle River Valley.
Our hot air balloon flights are surrounded by brilliant blue skies and breath catching Rocky Mountain Vistas. Each season has its own special beauty and flight time will be as long as we can make it! 60 minute minimum – 75 minutes average.
KIDS CAMPS
Kids Camps ages 5—15
Nature Camp, Critter Camp, Pony Camp and Horse Camp are all some of the options available to you for the day or even the week.
The horses are well rested and very chubby from eating over 100 tons of hay this winter! They need kids to groom the long, fuzzy hair off their bodies and from their manes and tails. Just like us, they need to get back into shape. Campers can help with that!
Parents love our flexible schedule which allows children to attend one, two, ten or many more days of camp throughout the summer. Camps run Mondays through Fridays. 9:30 to 3:30 for full day camps, 9-12 or 12:30 – 3:30 for half-day camps. Talk you your concierge to make reservations or to learn more
TENNIS & LESSONS
The Beaver Creek Tennis Center is located above the Highlands Lodge. We welcome and invite players of all levels to join us on one of our five Har-Tru clay or two hard courts. On site there is a complete pro shop offering men’s and ladies’ tennis wear, racquets, and tennis accessories. The Beaver Creek Tennis Center is proud to present our USPTA Professionals. Our instructors have extensive teaching experience for all ages and levels of play.
For those that love the game there are few greater joys than to play on clay. The legendary surface that is host to the French Open finds a welcome home in Bachelor Gulch as well. Here you will find four manicured clay tennis courts that are certain to satisfy casual, as well as seasoned and highly rated players. Tennis pros and classes are available upon request. Take a relaxing chairlift or gondola ride up Centennial Express Lift to the top of Beaver Creek Mountain. Enjoy lunch and games at Spruce Saddle, and explore the mountain by foot or bike on our many trails. Please visit the Summer Adventure Center to purchase tickets while you are in the resort.
