LEARN TO TELEMARK SKI

Tele Tuesday | Looking for a new challenge? Try Telemark skiing offered on Tuesday mornings. These classes are geared toward a first timer or experienced beginner who want to refine their telemark skiing skills. Recommend skill level is equivalent to being able to ski green runs on alpine skis. Please inquire with our concierge about discounted pricing on telemark rentals and finding a day to reserve lessons.

SNOWSHOE & TRAIL SYSTEM

Did you know that Beaver Creek has the most snowshoeing trails of any resort in North America? In addition to McCoy Peak terrain, there is also a vast network of snowshoe-only trails spanning from Beaver Creek to Bachelor Gulch, and Arrowhead. Special Insider Secret: knowing the snowshoe trails of Beaver Creek is like knowing the secret passages in an old house.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

An adventure in itself, cross country skiing is one of Beaver Creek's cherished pastimes. McCoy Park is only open to snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Leave the busy village behind and unwind in our robust network of groomed trails as well as natural trails. Start off with an easy gentle route and then head off on an adventure at your own pace. Beaver Creek offers professional lessons for all abilities and varying terrain for all abilities. Please note that tours and lessons require a minimum of 2 guests and you should always ski with at least one buddy.

Snowmobiling Tours

Feel the power of the Colorado back country like never before! The ultimate winter mountain adventure! Spend an hour or a day enjoying a guided tour on groomed trails or a free ride excursion in acres of open meadows. Choose your adventure and you will be guaranteed an exciting Beaver Creek experience with lots of sparkling snow and spectacular views.

SNOW COACH TOURS

Riding in a heated snow coach is perfect for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the Rockies in the winter! Travel in comfort in our fully enclosed, heated, four-track vehicle that maneuvers over the snow with ease. You’ll enjoy breath-taking views of the White River National Forest at historic Camp Hale. Climb to elevations as high as 12,500 feet with panoramic 360-degree vistas and enjoy the pristine beauty of the Colorado Rockies and the Continental Divide. Knowledgeable guides will highlight geographic features including THE biggest peaks in Colorado and also educate you on the historic military training of the 10th Mountain Division that trained on the very same trails in the 1940s.

ICE SKATING & LESSONS

Located in the heart of Beaver Creek Village, our outdoor ice rink is a magical place to take a spin. Unwind on the plush outdoor furniture, warm up by the fire pits, and watch the skaters go around as the snow comes down. Skate rentals are available on a first-come first-served basis .

HORSEBACK RIDING

There are some journeys that turn into legends. Come experience the Colorado high country by horseback. Offering rides for every ability, from novice to experienced, pick the perfect trail ride. Offering both short and long rides, along with adventures accompanied by a Western cookout, enjoy year-round trail rides with professional wranglers.

FLY FISHING

Want neverending options for unlimited fishing adventures? Sample some of the finest trout fishing the American West has to offer. For novice anglers and well-seasoned fishermen alike, local guides will treat you to an experience on legendary waters. With a wealth of waters to choose from, guides will select sections of river based on angler preference, level of experience, water conditions, and current hatches.

HOT AIR BALLOON RIDES

Welcome to the magical world of hot air ballooning. Specializing in year-round balloon tours above the beautiful Eagle River Valley, reserve a flight surrounded by brilliant blue skies and awe-inspiring Rocky Mountain vistas. Each season has its own unique beauty, and flight time will be determined on weather conditions. Minimum flight time is 60 minutes with an average of 75 minutes.

HORSE-DRAWN SLEIGH RIDE TO DINNER

Come experience the way the High Rockies used to be over a hundred years ago. When you arrive at Nelson’s cabin built around the 1890’s, enjoy a hot drink and a bowl of award-winning chili. Take a few minutes to warm up before heading out for an unforgettable sleigh ride. Snuggle up under warm blankets as the stars come alive, dancing above in the dark night skies.

Upon your return, savor a cowboy buffet including ribeye steaks, baby back ribs, and grilled chicken. Brush up on your old cowboy songs as you may just feel the urge to join in with the dinner entertainers.
