The Blues Brews and BBQ's Festival is back for another year here in Beaver Creek, Colorado.  This Memorial Day weekend May 26 - 28th, 2023 come to Beaver Creek for live Blues music on the main stage all weekend long, while sitting back with a cold craft beer and the best BBQ around.

Special Guests this year is Myron and Michael Mixon, father and son BBQ legends from Jack's Old South.  Myron is the winningest BBQ Chef in the country and his son, Michael, is the world champion BBQ chef.  All weekend they will perform demonstrations showing you how they make the world’s best BBQ. You can now learn from the best, while taking home their tips and tricks to use during your next family BBQ.

This event is free to the public but you will need to purchase your commemorative mug before they sell out and a brews punch card in advance if you want to try all the craft beers.   Some of the breweries returning from last year are Elevation Beer Co, Aspen Brewing Co, 4 Noses Brewing Co, Climb Hard Cider Co, Epic Brewing Co, Flying Embers Hard Cider Co, Grand Teton Brewing, Telluride Brewing Co, and Wibby Brewing.  Click here to reserve your tickets.

Welcome Myron & Michael Mixon, father & son BBQ legends of Jack's Old South BBQ. Myron is the Winningest BBQ Chef in the country and his Son, Michael, is the World Champion BBQ chef. They will give us tips for BBQ like the pros Saturday and Sunday.

 The Jorgensens Friday 4:30pm - 6:00pm

The Jorgensens’ ‘Americana Soul’ is one of this year’s sleeper successes. The couple’s new, 33-minute album, is a joy from beginning to end. That is thanks to its diverse musical sounds and styles, and lyrical themes, each of which will be discussed in its own moment here. The sequencing of said content adds even more to the album’s overall appeal and will also be discussed later. Each item noted is important in its own right to this record. All things considered they make Americana Soul easily one of this year’s top new independent albums and potentially overall albums.

Texas Flood Saturday 2:30pm - 4:00pm

Tommy Katona and Texas Flood have become one of the premier blues bands in all of North Texas. Evolving from the original tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Texas Flood pays tribute to the legends as well as the future of the blues through their music and style. With an in-your-face show and raw high energy playing Tommy Katona takes the listener on a journey through the blues.

Anthony Gomes Saturday 4:30pm - 6:00pm

"Gomes is a power player who is at his best when his gear is in the scorched earth between blues and rock. After all, it’s the electric guitar; sometimes tickling it is not enough."

Chicago Blues All-Stars Sunday 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Chicago Blues All-Stars is an American blues band based in Chicago that incorporates elements of funk, soul, R&B and hip hop. Chicago Blues All-Stars is made up of musicians that have been together as friends and musicians for four decades. The band includes numerous inductees in the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame and has been a headliner for shows such as Buddy Guy’s Legends featured on PBS and at music venues Kingston Mines and House Of Blues.
